Black Umfolosi are a world famous Zimbabwean dance and acapella group. Originally established in 1982, Black Umfolosi were first established to preserve and promote the Imbube culture as it was being first invaded by break dance and western culture - and facing elimination. In the decades since the band/troupe and project has gone from strength to strength as Black Umfolosi Performing Arts Project, touring and celebrated throughout the world.
